Basketball Game Preview: Eureka Loggers vs. Arcata Tigers + How To Watch

Eureka is 0-10 against Arcata since January of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Loggers will square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Eureka knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Arcata likes a good challenge.

Eureka took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They secured a 62-56 W over Fortuna. The victory continues a trend for the Loggers in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Arcata duked it out with McKinleyville on Wednesday. The Tigers walked away with a 58-47 win over the Panthers.

Eureka's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Arcata, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.

Eureka suffered a grim 65-41 defeat to Arcata in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Loggers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
