Coral Springs Charter has gone a perfect 9-0 against St. Thomas Aquinas recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. It was a proper cat-fight when Coral Springs Charter faced off against Coral Glades on Monday. The Panthers blew past the Jaguars 11-1. Considering the Panthers have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Courtney Wahlbrink made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other pitching news, Sophia Bertorelli looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Gio Gurgel, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Shelby Stephens was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
St. Thomas Aquinas let West Broward stack four runs on them in the seventh inning on Monday but luckily St. Thomas Aquinas prevailed anyway. The Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bobcats, sneaking past 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.
Lavinia Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.
On the hitting side, Christina D'Agostino was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Randall, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
St. Thomas Aquinas hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.

Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Coral Springs Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.
