Basketball Recap: Catholic Central Takes a Loss

Catholic Central was the 56-28 winner over Northeastern when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Irish fell 48-36 to the Jets on Wednesday. The Irish's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Northeastern's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Annalee Williams led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. Taylor Krauss was another key player, going 5-for-9 to rack up 11 points and five steals.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Northeastern, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9.
