Notre Dame Prep not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Desert Mountain Wolves 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Saints also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Notre Dame Prep never let Desert Mountain on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-18.

Lucy Solorzano paced Notre Dame Prep's offense, picking up 21 kills. Solorzano got some help from Elizabeth Hackleman and her 28 assists. Cassidy Graninger and Lauren Watson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

The win snapped Notre Dame Prep's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 15-9 record. As for Desert Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-17.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Notre Dame Prep and Horizon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert Mountain, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Sunrise Mountain on the 6th.
