Basketball Recap: Metro Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Rich Hill two weeks ago, Metro Academy came back down to earth. The Metro Academy Mavericks received a blow on Friday as they fell 59-40 to the Blue Valley North Mustangs. The game marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Metro Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for Blue Valley North, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Metro Academy will face off against Hogan Prep Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Valley North, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Staley at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
