Basketball Recap: Cameron Takes a Loss

Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 63-51 to the Cumberland Beavers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-48 two weeks ago.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Cumberland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Cameron will be playing at home against Ladysmith at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Ladysmith's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 contests. As for Cumberland, they will square off against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
