Recap: Central Christian Crusaders vs. Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS
The Central Christian Crusaders posted their biggest victory yet this season on Monday. They claimed a resounding 65-22 victory over Trinity Christian School of Griffin on the road. With Central Christian ahead 34-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie Schneider, who scored 16 points along with seven steals. Schneider has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Riley Clark, who scored 20 points along with eight steals.
Central Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
Central Christian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Lafayette Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully Lafayette Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Friday. Trinity Christian School of Griffin won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Konos Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
