Falkner entered their tilt with Middleton on Monday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Middleton Tigers by a score of 12-8. 12 seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Erick Lumpkin made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Lumpkin was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

In other batting news, Jackson Jordan was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Wooley, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4.

Falkner's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Middleton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Falkner and Middleton will both be playing Alcorn Central the next time they take the field. Falkner will host Alcorn Central at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, while Middleton will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
