Volleyball Recap: Pulaski Academy Comes Up Short

If Pulaski Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Robinson on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bruins took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Benton Panthers on Saturday. Considering the last time the Bruins couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Benton found their leader in sophomore Aniston Fox, who had five digs and two aces.

Pulaski Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Benton, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pulaski Academy and Benton will both be playing Bentonville West the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Wolverines at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bruins will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
