Basketball Recap: Star-Spencer Takes a Loss

If Star-Spencer was riding high fresh off their 54-33 takedown of Luther last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Star-Spencer Bobcats fell just short of the Tonkawa Buccaneers by a score of 59-57 on Saturday.

Star-Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Tonkawa, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Star-Spencer has already played their next match (against Harding Fine Arts), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tonkawa will square off against Morrison at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
