Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Del Valle

The Jefferson Silver Foxes will take on the Del Valle Conquistadores in a tournament on Friday. Jefferson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Jefferson is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Clint on Tuesday. Neither the Silver Foxes nor the Lions could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Del Valle opened the new year with a less-than-successful 3-1 loss to Eastlake. Del Valle haven't had much luck with Eastlake recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Del Valle now has a losing record of 1-2-1. With that draw, Jefferson's record moves to 1-3-1.
