Football Game Preview: Mission Bears vs. Washington Eagles

The Mission Bears will head out to take on the Washington Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Washington took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mission, who comes in off a win.

Mission is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Galileo 50-34 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Meanwhile, Washington played a tough matchup on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 54-6 loss at the hands of Balboa. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Washington's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Mission, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Mission came up short against Washington when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 33-21. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
