Douglas County barely beat Regis Jesuit the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies breezed past the Raiders to the tune of 40-6 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won five games by 31 points or more so far this season.

One reason for the win was Douglas County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Hayley Rice was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two herself. She has been hot, having posted at least one sack the last five times she's played. Mariia Dykalenko got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for Douglas County and bumps their season record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games. As for Regis Jesuit, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Douglas County has already played their next matchup, a 12-6 victory against Chaparral on the 9th. Regis Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
