Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Molalla). They breezed past the Woodburn Bulldogs to the tune of 35-7 on Friday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Indians just coasted through the last quarter.
Molalla found their leader in sophomore Beau Billings, who rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown.
The win made it two in a row for Molalla and bumps their season record up to 3-6. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 26 points in those games. As for Woodburn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
