Volleyball Recap: Centennial Broncos vs. Broken Bow Indians
Centennial lost against Broken Bow back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Centennial Broncos fell just short of the Broken Bow Indians by a score of 2-1. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Centennial actually scored more points across those three sets (68-67), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 26-24, 25-19.
Broken Bow can attribute much of their success to Maren Chapin, who had eight digs and 30 assists. Chapin is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Broken Bow, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
Centennial is on the road again on Tuesday to play Milford at 7:00 p.m. As for Broken Bow, they will challenge Centura at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
