Lansing benefitted from Gustafson in 16-2 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Isabelle Gustafson stepped things up a notch to give Lansing the 'W'. Gustafson did her part (and then some), scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances for the 'W'.
Gustafson's strong effort led Lansing over Dryden and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lansing is 8-2 against Dryden going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
