Pen Argyl is 8-2 against Northern Lehigh since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Green Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pen Argyl has three straight wins, Northern Lehigh has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

On Friday, Pen Argyl beat Salisbury Township 3-1.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Northern Lehigh's offense. They lost 3-0 to Palisades on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Northern Lehigh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 449th, while Palisades are ranked 179th).

Northern Lehigh's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Pen Argyl, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Pen Argyl was able to grind out a solid win over Northern Lehigh when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
