Baseball Recap: Whittier Takes a Loss

Whittier was the 8-6 winner over El Rancho when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dons on Friday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whittier saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Jimenez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Whittier's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for El Rancho, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whittier will host Garfield at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for El Rancho, they will be playing in front of their home fans against La Serna at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
