Soccer Game Preview: Browne vs. South Mountain

The Browne Bruins will square off against the South Mountain Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Browne has given up an average of 4.3 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Browne is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Hamilton on Tuesday. They lost 7-1 to the Huskies. Browne haven't had much luck with Hamilton recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, South Mountain kept a clean sheet against Cortez on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 4-0 win. South Mountain might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Browne now has a losing record of 4-5. As for South Mountain, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Everything went Browne's way against South Mountain when the teams last played back in January of 2025, as Browne made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
