Volleyball Recap: Plainfield East Has No Trouble Against Aurora East + How To Watch

Plainfield East won the last time they faced Aurora East and things went their way on Monday too. The Bengals walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tomcats. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bengals yet this season.

Plainfield East easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16.

Sydney Myers paced Plainfield East's offense, picking up nine kills. Myers got some help from Alaina Nino and her 11 assists. Nino and Myers didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

The victory made it two in a row for Plainfield East and bumps their season record up to 3-7. As for Aurora East, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
