Elida has gone 9-1 against Dora recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Coyotes at 4:00 p.m. Elida will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Elida and Melrose, and Elida kept the tradition alive. The Tigers put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 17-4 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won three matchups by 13 runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Gateway Christian, falling 13-3.

Dora saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Jasso, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Elida now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Dora, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Elida couldn't quite finish off Dora when the teams last played back in March and fell 10-8. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
