Basketball Recap: Lowry Takes a Loss

Lowry lost against Dayton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lowry Buckaroos fell to the Dayton Dust Devils 53-48. The Buckaroos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dayton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Frank, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Frank has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Talan Brown, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 20 points and five boards.

Lowry's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Dayton, their record is now 15-7.

Lowry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dayton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-47 victory against Wooster on the 10th.
