Volleyball Recap: Rochelle Zell Jewish Comes Up Short

Rochelle Zell Jewish lost against Northtown last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Pumas by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Rochelle Zell Jewish sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 26-28, 25-17.

Rochelle Zell Jewish dropped their record down to 4-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Northtown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rochelle Zell Jewish is set to challenge their familiar foe Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northtown will face off against rival Cristo Rey Jesuit at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
