While Bluffton's win against Blackford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bruins 6-5. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Griffin Morgan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Bluffton's record is now 2-0. As for Blackford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Bluffton will be taking part in a tournament against Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Blackford, they will square off against Wabash at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
