There's no place like home for Ilwaco, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Forks Spartans a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Fishermen have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ilwaco pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Forks, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Ilwaco will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair will be back at it again later today.
