Volleyball Recap: Steinmetz College Prep Takes a Loss

Steinmetz College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Ogden International. The Silver Streaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ogden International apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Steinmetz College Prep sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 17-25, 25-20.

Steinmetz College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ogden International, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Steinmetz College Prep has already played their next matchup (against Clark), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ogden International, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mather at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st.
