Basketball Recap: Varnado's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pine, Varnado was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Abramson Commodores as the Varnado Wildcats made off with a 52-32 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Varnado's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Abramson, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Varnado has already played their next contest, an 80-33 victory against Mt. Hermon on the 19th. As for Abramson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-38 loss against West St. John on the 17th.
