Basketball Recap: Manville Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Manville couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. The contest between the Manville Mustangs and Thrive Charter didn't end well, with the Manville Mustangs falling 53-37. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while Thrive Charter are ranked 24th).

Manville's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Thrive Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Manville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thrive Charter, they will face off against New Providence on Friday. New Providence will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Thrive Charter surely won't give up without a fight.
