Hamilton and Weed squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hamilton had to settle for second. They came up short against the Weed Cougars, falling 71-47. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 876th, while the Cougars are ranked 273rd).

Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Case Porter, who posted 22 points along with eight boards and four steals.
