Basketball Recap: Ransom Everglades Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Ransom Everglades, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They managed a 47-43 victory over the Westminster Christian Warriors on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ransom Everglades' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nica Rosenberg, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 12 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Rosenberg has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Holly Clement was another key player, putting up ten points and seven rebounds.

Ransom Everglades' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Westminster Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Ransom Everglades wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-36 defeat against Hebrew Academy on the 9th. As for Westminster Christian, they will take on Lourdes Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westminster Christian is facing Lourdes Academy at the right time seeing as Lourdes Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
