There's no place like home for Overhills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They claimed a resounding 65-18 win over the Western Harnett Eagles. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Overhills to victory were Ja?Von Motta and Jaiden Odom. Motta went 5 of 10 en route to 11 points and seven steals, while Odom went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points and eight rebounds. Those seven steals gave Motta a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Deshaun Barton, who posted 11 points and five assists.

Overhills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive contests.

Overhills' victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Western Harnett, they are on a 42-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Overhills will venture away from home to challenge Westover at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Westover's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Western Harnett, they and Pine Forest will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Pine Forest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.5 points per game this season.
