Volleyball Game Preview: Norman Tigers vs. Mustang Broncos

Norman hasn't had much luck against Mustang recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers will welcome the Broncos at 6:00 p.m.

Norman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Mount St. Mary, who was ranked second at the time (Norman was ranked tenth). The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Rockets on Saturday. Considering the last time the Tigers couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Camryn Burress put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had ten assists and seven digs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mustang, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Stillwater on Thursday.

Mustang had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-17.

Mustang's win bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Norman, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-8.

Norman was able to grind out a solid victory over Mustang in their previous matchup last Friday, winning 2-0. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Broncos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
