Basketball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Columbia had lost 12 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it 13. They came up short against the Lee Generals, falling 63-37. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-15.

As for Lee, their win bumped their record up to 4-1. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Columbia: they've now won seven in a row.

Lee had a senior duo take command as Dylan Anderson posted 17 points and Tristan Thomas earned 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Thomas. Chase Stuart was another key player, putting up eight points.

Looking ahead, Columbia will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison County at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
