Baseball Recap: Thatcher Takes a Loss

Thatcher lost to Miami back in March of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Vandals by a score of 5-4.

Jagen Hall and Boston Echols stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hall went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI, while Echols went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Thatcher's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Miami, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Thatcher will face off against Show Low at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miami, they will challenge Safford at 10:45 a.m. on Friday.
