Kingston Keanaaina Delivers Best Effort of Season

Saint Francis was led to victory by Kingston Keanaaina, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Keanaaina rushed for 323 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.

The victory (which was Saint Francis' third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Keanaaina and Saint Francis will face off against St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Legend Williams Leads Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory over Archbishop Mitty

On Saturday, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory got the W thanks in part to Legend Williams playing the best football he has all season. Williams rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He has become a key player for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

Unfortunately for Archbishop Mitty, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Williams. When Williams last faced the Monarchs back in September of 2023, he rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

Michael Sargent posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Saturday. He threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.

For the season, Sargent has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 222.2 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 13.17 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 24.67 rushing yards.
