Andover got themselves on the board against Centennial on Tuesday, but Centennial never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Cougars. The victory was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on five straight.

Andover got a great performance from Brett Buettner as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Buettner has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Danny Scheller, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Jaxon Knutson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Andover's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Centennial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Andover will venture away from home to challenge Eden Prairie at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Centennial, they will welcome Osseo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: the Orioles will have lost eight straight heading into Wednesday's matchup.
