Basketball Game Preview: Catholic Rockets vs. Beebe Badgers

The Catholic Rockets will square off against the Beebe Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Catholic came up short against Little Rock Christian Academy and fell 64-54. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Warriors are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Beebe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Sylvan Hills and fell 70-39.

Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Beebe, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Everything came up roses for Catholic against Beebe in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 55-24 victory. Will Catholic repeat their success, or does Beebe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
