Basketball Recap: Moundridge Wildcats vs. Inman Inman Teutons
The Moundridge Wildcats can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. Everything went their way against Inman as Moundridge made off with a 60-35 victory. The win was familiar territory for Moundridge who now have three in a row.
Kreighton Kanitz was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with two blocks. Another player making a difference was Henry Hecox, who scored 11 points along with five assists.
Moundridge pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.2 points. As for Inman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moundridge's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Marion will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 196th, while the Wildcats are ranked 17th). As for Inman, they will head out on the road to challenge the Celtics on Monday.
