Basketball Game Preview: Carrollwood Day Patriots vs. Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the Carrollwood Day Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bayshore Christian took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Carrollwood Day, who comes in off a win.

Carrollwood Day is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Seffner Christian on Thursday as Carrollwood Day made off with a 94-69 win. The score was all tied up 42-42 at the break, but the Patriots were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Bayshore Christian lost 61-39 to Robinson on Thursday.

Carrollwood Day will need focus on slowing down Tylan Lewis, one of several Bayshore Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 14 points. That was a full 35.9% of Bayshore Christian's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Stayte, who scored 18 points.
