Volleyball Recap: Midlothian Heritage Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Midlothian Heritage extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 5-15. They lost 3-0 to the Joshua Owls. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their loss to the Owls from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Midlothian Heritage's offense was headlined by Preslee Parrish and Sydney Nelms, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Madie McDowell and her nine assists.

As for Joshua, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8. That three set margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Joshua was led to victory by Ruby Vincent and Madilyn Lacey. Vincent had 16 assists and 14 digs, while Lacey had 13 digs and two aces. Vincent has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played. Cady Cory also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Midlothian Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Wylie on the 30th. As for Joshua, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Glen Rose on the 30th.
