Softball Recap: Dixie Comes Up Short

Dixie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 12-0 to the Cedar Reds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Reds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 last Tuesday.

Dixie's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Cedar, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixie will host Moapa Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cedar, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Crimson Cliffs at 3:00 p.m.
