Grimsley had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles as they made off with  a  3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in September.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Grimsley took every set by at least 21 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-4,  25-0.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grimsley to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Morgan Falk, who  had 11  aces and six  digs. Those  11  aces gave  Falk a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Naomi Locklear, who  had nine  aces.
 They weren't the only good servers: Grimsley  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 33  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in four consecutive  contests.
Grimsley's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Ben L. Smith,  they are  on  a  22-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.
 Grimsley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ben L. Smith, they will take on Southwest Guilford at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
