Graham had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Burkburnett Bulldogs on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Steers have posted since September 20, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (105-104) Graham actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 20-25, 19-25, 25-22, 25-22, 15-11.

Looking ahead, Graham will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Lampasas at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Burkburnett has already played their next match (against City View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
