Basketball Game Preview: Exeter Blue Hawks vs. Goffstown Grizzlies

The Exeter Blue Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Goffstown Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Exeter has three straight victories, Goffstown has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Exeter will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Manchester Memorial, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Exeter blew past Manchester Memorial 71-42 on Friday. The Blue Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Goffstown came up short against Winnacunnet on Friday and fell 43-33.

Exeter's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points over those games. As for Goffstown, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Exeter came up short against Goffstown in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, falling 49-41. Can Exeter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
