After a string of 11 wins dating back to last season, Sebastopol's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 8-1 to the West Lauderdale Knights. The matchup marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hanna Boleware made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Marlee Smith, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sebastopol fell to 10-1. As for West Lauderdale, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Sebastopol is taking a road trip to face off against Clarkdale at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for West Lauderdale, they will welcome Clinton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
