Basketball Recap: Purcell Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Purcell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 47-40 to the Community Christian Royals. That's two games in a row now that the Dragons have lost by exactly seven points.

Purcell's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Purcell will head out to face off against Comanche at 6:30 p.m. on December 17th. Purcell is facing Comanche at the right time seeing as Comanche is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Community Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cyril at 6:30 p.m. on December 20th.
