Kade Pape Turns in Season-Best Performance

Kade Pape produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Marion to the win on Friday. Pape rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The victory made it two in a row for Marion and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Pape and Marion will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ingram Moore at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Luke Davis produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Llano to the win on Friday. Davis threw for 240 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Llano, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Davis and Llano will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Trey Mote Delivers Electric Performance Vs Luling

Another Llano player making an appearance on this list is Trey Mote. He rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

For the year, Mote has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 111.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 55.86 rushing yards per game.
