Basketball Game Preview: Siuslaw Vikings vs. South Umpqua Lancers

Siuslaw is 8-2 against South Umpqua since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Siuslaw Vikings will be playing at home against the South Umpqua Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Siuslaw is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Last Tuesday, everything went Siuslaw's way against Coquille as Siuslaw made off with a 52-28 victory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, South Umpqua came up short against Sutherlin on Tuesday and fell 65-54.

Siuslaw pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for South Umpqua, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Siuslaw beat South Umpqua 53-41 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Siuslaw repeat their success, or does South Umpqua have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
