Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Ashland

Ashland took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Holliston, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Clockers had just enough and edged out the Panthers 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Clockers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Chris Bratica made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Ashland's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.
