Basketball Recap: Jimtown Jimmies vs. Fairfield Falcons        
        
		
             Jimtown was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  49-23 to the Fairfield Falcons. The Jimmies lost against the Falcons in their previous head to head  back in October of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the  46-43 score last time.
 Despite the  defeat, Jimtown saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Kamryn Williams  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and 11  rebounds. Those 11  rebounds set a new season-high mark for  Williams. Another player making a difference was  Lily Gaugler, who  had six points plus two  steals.
 Jimtown's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Fairfield, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Jimtown will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mishawaka Marian at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Fairfield, they will square off against Concord at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
